Siting & Usage Guidance
To give hedgehogs the best chance of moving in, place the house in a quiet, sheltered corner of your garden out of direct sunlight and prevailing winds. Cover the exterior with leaves, twigs, or brushwood to provide extra insulation and help it blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings.
Care & Maintenance

Annual Retreating: To preserve the timber and maintain its protective finish, retreat the house once a year using Exterior Danish Oil or Protek Royal Exterior Finish in Golden Pine.

Cleaning Instructions: Clean annually in early autumn (once you are certain the house is unoccupied) using warm water and a soft sponge. For stubborn marks, use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly to ensure no soap residue remains before allowing it to air dry fully.
