Organic Element Snare Necklace in Turquoise

Made from hammered snare wire, hand-made stainless steel clasp and jump rings, with Mukwa wooden beads, Zulu seed and faux suede.

Each piece of jewellery is created from snare wire that has been collected from the African bush by brave rangers before it has a chance to harm any of the South Luangwa's magnificent animals.

Every piece is inspired by the rugged beauty of the South Luangwa, the untamed grace of its wildlife and the gentle strength of its people

Mulberry Mongoose is an incredible group of creative and courageous craftspeople based in the Zambian bush that we are honoured to be working with this year. 

Their workshop is located on a well-trodden elephant path in Mfuwe, in the remote Zambian bush.

Mulberry Mongoose donate back to local conservation groups, supporting more anti-snare patrols for every piece sold. Through these jobs, local families are also supported, helping them to conserve their unique landscape. $146 350,25 raised so far (October 2023).
