One pipette applied monthly to large dogs between 20-40kg, RSPCA FLEAawayª can help provide effective control against fleas and ticks all year round. Fleas can cause major health problems for dogs, including flea allergy dermatitis, a serious skin allergy causing hair loss, sore skin, itching, and anaemia in puppies.
Comes in an easy to use, award-winning resealable pipette. One pack contains 3 pipettes, enough for three months' treatment.
Kills fleas for up to eight weeks in dogs and provides up to four weeks tick control. We recommend applying the product monthly during tick season, or if your dog regularly gets wet.
Always use the correct product for your dog's current weight. Large dog is for use on dogs from 20-40kg.
Do not use on puppies or dogs under 20kg in weight, or lactating dams. Do not use on cats.
Ingredients: contains 268mg fipronil.
Pharmaceutical agents in many topical spot-on flea treatments, including fipronil, have been found in worrying levels in UK waterways. They are extremely toxic to invertebrates and may be toxic to other species, so we need to be mindful of their potential for environmental toxicity and use them in an appropriate way.
It is important that the product leaflet is followed, and that the product is applied to your pet properly, following the manufacturers' instructions. Animals should not be allowed to swim, or be washed or taken to the groomers for a number of days after application of the product (check the product leaflet for specifics).
It's also really important that the packaging is disposed of appropriately in household refuse and that the right product is used in the correct way for the species listed on the product. Talk to your vet about the parasite risks for your pet and which products are best and how frequently they should be given, so that we can help protect pets, people and the planet.
