When there’s a call about an animal in danger, we’re there to pick up the phone. 

In 2023, our phone lines took 977,834 calls about animal welfare. We dealt with 16,722 complaints about abandoned animals and our inspectorate responded to 111,654 animal welfare incidents.

In the same year, we found 28,483 animals their forever homes, but we still have so many more in our care. And while we love looking after them, we believe every animal deserves their own home.
