Snare Links Bracelet, Turquoise

This Links Bracelet is crafted with attention to detail and made from hammered snare wire, coiled snare wire, hand made stainless steel metal clasp & jump rings and Turquoise.

The workshop is located down a well-worn elephant path in the heart of the African bush and the team use organic materials from hand carved wooden beads, seeds, feathers and vintage coins and mix them with semi-precious stones. These designs are both beautiful and meaningful reinvesting back into the remote African economy.

This social business is called Mulberry Mongoose and it has an incredible group of creative and courageous craftspeople based in the Zambian bush that we are honoured to be working with this year.

Each piece of jewellery is created from snare wire that has been collected from the African bush by brave rangers before it has a chance to harm any of the South Luangwa's magnificent animals.

Mulberry Mongoose donate back to local conservation groups, to date over $146,000 has been donated to support the anti-poaching rangers.

Through these jobs, local families are also supported, helping them to conserve their beautiful landscape and the wildlife around them.
